Sinopsis
Shen La, a special investigator for the "Poll Bureau" of the mysterious incident management agency, is seriously injured during a mission. As he nears death, he inherits a "seed" containing mysterious power from Wu Rendi, the director of the Sixth Office. After regaining consciousness, Wu Rendi's senior brother Guangren takes him in as a disciple. To find the fragments of the Tianli Diagram, Shen La goes through various trials, including the Tianshan Wolf Tomb and energy backlash, before being recognized by Wu Rendi. He receives the ancient artifact, the Twin Swords of Crime and Punishment. Meanwhile, the problem of an insider in the Poll Bureau becomes more complex, and Shen La and his partner Sun Desheng go into battle again.
