Synopsis
In a small town in Southern China, a hard rain is about to fall. Xiao Zhang, a driver, steals 1 million from his boss to save his fiancée’s failed plastic surgery. News of the robbery spreads quickly, and everyone starts looking for Xiao Zhang and his money over the course of one night.
Background
The film won Best Animation Feature at the 54th Golden Horse Awards. It premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival on February 17, 2017, and received its nationwide Chinese release on January 12, 2018.
