Synopsis

Adapted from the CyberConnect2 hit game, this CG movie is set within the storyline of the .hack//G.U. game trilogy. The narrative follows Haseo, a player in the online MMORPG The World:R2, initially depicted as a PKK (Player Killer Killer) known as the "Terror of Death" and a former member of the disbanded Twilight Brigade guild. Haseo encounters Azure Kite, believing him to be Tri-Edge and blaming him for Shino's condition. However, Haseo is outmatched and Data Drained, reducing his level from 133 to 1 and leaving him without items, weapons, or member addresses. This leaves Haseo with a mystery about the nature of Data Drain and why Azure Kite possesses such a skill.
