Sinossi
Satoko, the eldest daughter of the esteemed Kirigaya family, has received numerous marriage proposals due to her beauty and grace. However, she has declined them all because of her secret heart condition. Despite her ailment, Satoko is willing to find a husband to ease her father's worries. During a stroll, Satoko is kidnapped by mercenaries, including Shinpei Gotou, a legendary assassin tasked with executing her. She attempts to bribe Gotou to free her, but her efforts fail. Desperate, Satoko makes a bold move: pretending to be smitten, she asks him to marry her. To her surprise, Gotou agrees and vows to protect her. As the couple escapes to freedom, Satoko struggles to maintain the charade and understand the enigmatic man she has eloped with.
