Synopsis
In 2029, Niihama City is a technologically advanced metropolis where citizens can replace limbs with robotic parts. Public Security Section 9 combats threats in this interconnected world. Major Motoko Kusanagi leads a case involving the mysterious hacker "Puppet Master," who leaves victims without memories. As Motoko and her team pursue the Puppet Master, they uncover the complex nature of the case and philosophical questions about life's meaning.
