Synopsis
During the 19th century, a rice merchant encounters a mother who attempts to trade her child's clothes for rice. Inspired, the merchant becomes Monk Seishin and alleviates the poverty of Miyajima's islanders by digging wells and initiating the wooden ladle industry.
