Synopsis
Manji, a notorious swordsman in feudal Japan, is known as the "Hundred Man Killer" due to his numerous innocent victims. However, his immortality, granted by the bloodworms placed in his body by the 800-year-old nun Yaobikuni, is far more alarming. To atone for his crimes, Manji vows to kill one thousand evil men. Yaobikuni agrees, promising to lift his curse if he succeeds. Soon after, Manji encounters Rin Asano, a 16-year-old girl seeking his help to avenge her parents' murderers. Initially hesitant, Manji eventually agrees to protect Rin for four years. Together, they embark on a perilous journey of vengeance, bloodshed, and redemption, each pursuing their own life's purpose.
