Synopsis
Teruaki "Teru" Nakamura moves from Tokyo to Okinawa and falls for his lively classmate Hina Kyan, who helps him adjust to his new school. However, Hina's strong local dialect makes it challenging for Teru to understand her. Despite this, Hina enthusiastically shares Okinawan culture with him. Teru's best friend Kana Higa offers to help with translations and teach him useful phrases, but she has her own reasons—she has a crush on Teru. As the trio spends more time together, unaware of each other's feelings, Teru learns about his new home and enjoys his friends' company.

Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru was the first anime to air on three Okinawan commercial broadcasters. The series was released on Blu-ray in two volumes by Happinet Media Marketing from May 9, 2025, to July 2, 2025. It adapts the first 41 chapters of the web manga.
