Background
Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game: The Chronicles is a series of monthly anime shorts showcasing Official Card Game-original (i.e. not from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga) card themes. It is an expansion of the demo reel of the same name released the previous year. The first arc retells one fight from the lore of the "Sky Striker" theme. The second arc adapts the The Fallen & The Virtuous storyline's first part, involving the "Dogmatika", "Tri-Brigade", "Springans", and "Branded" themes. The third arc features the "Charmer" theme.
