Synopsis
Takumi Fujiwara teams up with Ryousuke and Keisuke Takahashi to establish "Project D." They have a dual objective: Ryousuke is focused on advancing his "High-Speed Street Racing Theory," while Keisuke and Takumi are determined to hone their driving prowess by competing against formidable rivals on treacherous routes. Project D's mission is to take on street racing teams from various prefectures, aiming to better their uphill and downhill records. To draw the interest of top racing teams, Ryousuke sets up a website dedicated to announcing Project D's upcoming races and showcasing the team's achievements. The fourth installment of Initial D chronicles the trials and triumphs of Project D's members as they strive to be recognized as the premier street racing team beyond Gunma Prefecture.
