Synopsis
Yukio "Koyuki" Tanaka, a fourteen-year-old boy, feels disheartened and lacks direction in life. His outlook shifts when he rescues a peculiar dog named Beck from a group of local children. The dog's owner, Ryuusuke "Ray" Minami, a sixteen-year-old aspiring guitarist and ex-member of a renowned rock band, enters Koyuki's life. Upon reuniting with Ray at a diner, Koyuki is taken to the former band's hangout, where he is captivated by Ray's exceptional guitar prowess. Gradually drawn to the allure of Western rock culture, Koyuki decides to learn the guitar and assist Ray in his quest to form the ultimate rock band. Alongside Ray's younger sister Maho and a few other members, the duo embarks on their rock journey by establishing a band named BECK. The story chronicles the band's challenges and triumphs as they rise to fame across Japan.
