Synopsis
Richard Plantagenet has dedicated his life to becoming strong enough to fight alongside his father, the Duke of York. Together, they have waged war to reclaim the throne of England from King Henry VI and the House of Lancaster. However, Richard hides a secret that his mother scorns him for, and cruel voices in his head never fail to remind him of it. Amid his personal turmoil, he finds solace in his father's love. But as the War of the Roses turns bloodier, Richard's ambitions grow, and his old loyalties splinter, threatening his family's path to glory.
Background
Baraou no Souretsu was originally set to premiere in October 2021, but was delayed to January 2022 due to production issues. The series was released on Blu-ray in four volumes from March 29, 2022 to September 28, 2022.
