Synopsis
With advanced technology, mankind has created hIEs, human-like robots serving society. Unlike others, the kind-hearted high school student Arato Endou treats hIEs as equals but cannot afford one. His life changes when a hacked hIE attacks him, and he is saved by Lacia, an advanced hIE escaping MemeFrame Corporation. Lacia offers to live with Arato in exchange for his protection, but she warns him she lacks a soul.
