Synopsis
Detroit Metal City (DMC) is a popular death metal band led by the extravagant Johannes Krauser II. Unknown to his fans, Krauser II is the alter ego of Souichi Negishi, a soft-spoken college graduate who must participate in DMC's concerts to make ends meet. The series follows Negishi's misadventures as he juggles his band life, a budding romance, and his obsessive fans.
Background
The name Detroit Metal City originated from the song "Detroit Rock City" by the band KISS.
