Synopsis
The fairy tale follows Budori Gusuko, a young man who leaves his home in the Tohoku forests of northeastern Japan during the 1920s due to droughts and natural disasters. He joins scientists at the Ihatov Volcano Department, which deals with the same disasters that forced him to leave.
