Synopsis
During the civil war, a girl named Jeanie, living in Virginia, waits for her old boyfriend Robert to marry her, according to a childish promise. However, the war complicates things, and Robert returns as a northerner soldier. Only with the conflict's end and many misadventures will their dream become true.
