Synopsis
Nanoha Takamachi, a cheerful third-grade girl who loves her family and friends, finds a wounded ferret she had seen in a dream the previous night. The next day, the ferret speaks to her mind, pleading for help. He introduces himself as Yuuno Scrya, a mage from another dimension who scattered the 21 perilous Jewel Seeds across Earth and now seeks to recover them. He gives Nanoha the magical device Raising Heart and trains her to wield its power. After gathering several Jewel Seeds, Nanoha encounters another mage, Fate Testarossa, whose strength surpasses her own. Fate remains silent about her motives for collecting the Jewel Seeds, though Nanoha notices a deep sadness in her gaze. Fate keeps her distance, unwilling to engage. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha explores the emotional turmoil that arises when two determined individuals find themselves at odds.
