Continuing from the first season, Makina loses consciousness when the Marishi Machina suit developed by the Hyuga Corporation takes control of her body and sends her charging onto the new Shutoko expressway on an MT-07. Dan manages to stop her just in time. With Makina on the back of his MT-09 Street Rally, Dan rides back towards the Genesis Café, only to be intercepted by Hyuga Corporation chairman Mitsukuni Hyuga. He awaits them with an unsettling expression. Dan anticipates being forced to resign for involving Kotaro Hyuga, the company’s heir, in the situation. However, when Makina confronts Mitsukuni about the truth behind the incident that claimed their parents’ lives, Dan receives an unexpected order. Dan continues to avoid confronting the trauma he experienced as a child, but Makina encourages him to seek the truth. Sanae, the owner of the Genesis Café, notices their troubled state and takes matters into her own hands.
