Synopsis

As the fall season draws to a close, Chidori Yoshino, a member of Strega, kidnaps Junpei Iori. Meanwhile, Makoto Yuuki and the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) defeat the Arcana Hanged Man. Shortly after, a mysterious playboy named Ryouji Mochizuki transfers into Gekkoukan High School's Class 2-F. Believing they have achieved their goal, the members of SEES think they are free from the battle that has claimed the lives of their loved ones. However, Tartarus and the Dark Hour persist, undeterred by the elimination of the twelfth Shadow. Struggling with their apparent failure, SEES must confront their personal demons and discover the purpose of their fight. As Makoto and Junpei's journeys of self-discovery progress, Ryouji's true identity and the reason behind Aegis's hatred for him are revealed.
