Synopsis
Yomigaeru Sora was initially planned to feature a female protagonist with more detailed animation under the title "Rescue Angel". However, due to the decisions of Yuji Matsukura, Katsushi Sakurabi, and Fumihiko Takayama, the story was altered to feature a male protagonist with simpler animation. Sakurabi's original concept for the anime was developed into a pilot, which was included with the limited edition of the 7th volume of the DVD release.
