Saigo no Kuushuu: Kumagaya

Seven-year-old Sachiko, having lost her family in the Tokyo firebombing, travels to her uncle's home in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture. Along the way, her train is attacked by a plane, but she is greeted warmly by her uncle's family. Sachiko explores the natural beauty around Kumagaya with her cousins, but their peaceful days are cut short by the final air raid of the war. Amidst the chaos, Sachiko becomes separated from her family, leading to tragic consequences.
