Synopsis
The Yellow Turban rebellion marks the beginning of the Han dynasty's downfall. Liu Bei, the protagonist, and Cao Cao, the antagonist, start as minor players. Liu Bei befriends warriors Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, taking the Oath of the Peach Garden. Meanwhile, Cao Cao ponders his destiny. Power shifts as Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu fall out, giving Cao Cao his chance. Liu Bei strives for justice, but he is a small piece in China's warring states chessboard.
