Synopsis
For nearly a millennium, demons have trapped humans within a magical barrier, preventing them from reaching the outside world. Now that the barrier is broken, several kingdoms seek to explore the new lands. They establish a peace delegation to make contact with the inhabitants of the unexplored realm. Meanwhile, the young sorceress Lina Inverse receives a message from a mysterious woman named Filia ul Copt. Filia hires Lina and her friends for a task that will take them to the outside world. To test their strength, Filia pits them against a dragon in the middle of the city. After proving themselves, the sorceress and her companions set off for the unexplored lands, where many adventures and a worrying prophecy await them.
