Synopsis
The Great Kanto Desert, a scorching wasteland of ruins and sand, is what remains of post-apocalyptic Japan. The once-thriving population now struggles to survive in the harsh dunes. This is true for most, except those who see the desert as a chance to carve out a name for themselves under the relentless Kanto sun. Among them is the masked handyman known as "Sunabouzu," or Desert Punk, who has built a legendary reputation for completing any job, regardless of the nature or price. Shrewd and merciless, he has become a symbol of raw destruction among the desert dwellers. However, Junko Asagiri, known as the "Vixen of the Desert," uncovers Sunabouzu's weakness—his uncontrollable desire for curvaceous desert women. As they embark on wild adventures across the Kanto Desert, Sunabouzu encounters an eccentric array of characters who indulge in mindless violence and debauchery in a world ruined by their ancestors. Like those before them, they have learned nothing from the past.
