Synopsis
The series begins when Hayato, a soccer enthusiast, and his girlfriend Yumi, an aspiring musician, visit Dr. Leonard's lab. They accidentally activate the Tondekeman, a talking kettle that transports them centuries into the past. In Baghdad, Hayato and Yumi reunite but get separated from Tondekeman. They meet Aladdin, Prince Dandarn, and Princess Shalala. They also encounter the cunning Abdullah, who is always ready to kidnap the princess to marry her to his master. Our heroes travel to different places and times, meeting historical and literary figures as they pursue Abdullah, who escapes through time to abduct the princess. Hayato and Yumi are stuck in the past until they retrieve Tondekeman from Abdullah's possession.
