Synopsis
Considered the third installment in the popular When They Cry series by 07th Expansion, Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place on the island of Rokkenjima, owned by the wealthy Ushiromiya family. The family gathers for a yearly conference to discuss financial situations. However, the family head, Ushiromiya Kinzou, has a different agenda. Desperate to meet his true love, the Golden Witch Beatrice, one last time, he instigates a ceremony to revive her upon the family's arrival. Soon after, a violent typhoon traps the family on the island, and a series of mysterious murders begin, forcing the eighteen people on the island to fight for their lives in a deadly struggle between fantasy and reality.
