Sinopsis
Chiyo Mihama starts high school as one of the most unusual freshmen—a 10-year-old genius with a love for stuffed toys and home-cooked meals. However, her homeroom teacher, Yukari Tanizaki, is the type who wouldn't hesitate to borrow a student's bike to avoid tardiness, making "unusual" a matter of perspective. Yukari-sensei's class is full of unique girls. Alongside Chiyo are students like Tomo Takino, a lively tomboy with more energy than sense; Koyomi Mizuhara, Tomo's quick-tempered best friend; and Sakaki, a tall, sporty beauty whose scary appearance belies her gentle nature and her painful love for cats. Transfer student Ayumu Kasuga, a dreamy girl, fits right in and has some intriguing ideas about Chiyo's pigtails! This endearing group of girls navigates the highs and lows of school life, their adventures brimming with laughter, surreal fun, and sometimes even poignant reflections on the fleeting, bittersweet essence of high school.
