Sinopsis
Tetsurou Hoshino, a boy seeking an immortal mechanical body for revenge, aims to steal a boarding pass for the Galaxy Express 999. This space train travels across the galaxy, with its final stop offering free metal replacements. After swiping a pass, Tetsurou is pursued by the police and collapses into the arms of Maetel, a mysterious woman resembling his mother. She offers him a spot on the 999 if he travels with her. Accepting, Tetsurou embarks on a galactic journey aboard the cosmic railway.
