Sinopsis
22 receives an invitation to test a virtual reality game, The Sea in a Box. In the game, a fishing village celebrates the Lantern Festival with a deity procession. 22 and three other test players discover a mysterious female deity, "Cizhou Shenggu" (Sacred Maiden Cizhou). As they investigate her origins, they uncover traces of manipulation from outside the game and a mysterious force influencing the NPCs. Meanwhile, 22's sister, 33, discovers suspicious behavior from the employees outside the game. A vast conspiracy involving multiple forces gradually surfaces.
