Sinopsis
On a rainy day in Tokyo, Takao Akizuki, a budding shoemaker, skips class to sketch designs in a garden. There, he encounters Yukari Yukino, a woman with a mysterious aura. As they meet repeatedly during the rainy season, Takao offers to craft shoes for Yukari, and they find solace in each other's company. However, their personal struggles resurface as the rainy season ends, testing their bond.

Kotonoha no Niwa received the Feature Film Award at the 18th Animation Kobe Awards in 2013 and shared the Satoshi Kon Award for Achievement in Animation with Berserk: Ougon Jidaihen III - Kourin. In 2014, the movie won the AniMovie Award for best feature film.
