Sinopsis

In N-City, playing the popular social role-playing game Magical Girl Raising Project is as close as many girls can get to being real magical girls. However, for a select few, that dream becomes a reality. One such girl is Koyuki Himekawa, who receives a notification that she has been chosen to become a magical girl, her in-game avatar Snow White. As Koyuki and other chosen players in the city begin helping those in need, they receive another notification: the admins have decided to reduce the number of magical girls. The players with the least Magical Candies, awarded for their magical girl activities, will lose their powers. But when a real-world tragedy befalls the first player to drop out, the girls realize the dire consequences of losing their abilities. As more participants inevitably lose the competition and twisted rules are added, the girls find themselves in a desperate fight for survival.
