Sinopsis
Takashi Natsume, blessed with the ability to see youkai, hides his gift from his family and friends to maintain their peaceful lives. He kindly returns the names of benevolent youkai using the Book of Friends inherited from his late grandmother, Reiko. The exorcist clan Matoba seeks to recruit Natsume due to his extraordinary gift. However, Natsume refuses their invitation, as not all exorcists are as reasonable as his friend Shuuichi Natori. Many exorcists indiscriminately seal away youkai, a practice Natsume opposes. Dissatisfied with Natsume's refusal, Seiji Matoba blackmails him into attending a gathering of powerful exorcist families. Natsume finds himself among dangerous people and youkai, but he continues to defy the exorcists' harsh methods, believing in the possibility of peace between both worlds.
