Sinopsis

On August 10, 2002, the eruption of Mount Fuji, along with a series of large-scale earthquakes and tsunamis, inflicts tremendous damage on Japan, plunging the country into a state of emergency. Another massive earthquake on August 15 splits Japan into two. While Japanese refugees are taken in by various countries, the Japanese government accepts aid from China and the United States, leading to China governing the North and the USA governing the South. Fifteen years later, Japanese refugees residing in Taiwan and Taiwanese citizens clash due to job competition and the worsening conditions of the Japanese refugees. Genichiro Ryu, a survivor of the catastrophic events in Japan but raised in Taiwan by adoptive parents, gets involved in the situation between the Taiwanese and the Japanese, hoping for peaceful coexistence.
