Sinopsis
In Vandread, humanity has spread across the Milky Way, but men and women now inhabit separate worlds—Taraak and Mejere—locked in a fierce, literal war of the sexes, where they no longer even consider each other the same species. Hibiki Tokai, a low-ranking male laborer from Taraak, finds himself aboard a battleship after a failed attempt to steal a robot. His situation worsens when female pirates seize the Taraakian Vanguard. Desperate, the male crew fires on their own captured ship, accidentally creating a massive wormhole that drags both the Vanguard and the Mejeran pirate vessels into the unknown. Stranded far from home, the men and women must now set aside their differences and cooperate if they ever hope to return.
