Synopsis
After a devastating war against the Zentradi, humanity flees towards the galaxy's center aboard the Macross Frontier, a fleet of colonial vessels. Life on Macross Frontier proceeds as usual in the year 2059. Alto Saotome, a young mecha pilot trainee, and his colleagues prepare to perform a routine for the famous singer Sheryl Nome. During the performance, a biomechanical alien species known as the Vajra suddenly appears, causing chaos. Alto saves Ranka Lee, a young girl targeted by the Vajra. Following these events, Alto is recruited to combat the new alien threat.
