Synopsis
The narrative of Open Your Mind delves into the extraterrestrial origins of life, which arrived from outer space as six deities (Intermission act). These deities evolved into water (Sho-ho), then emerged into the air (Hyakkin), and finally onto the ground (Ku-nu). Each of these creatures governs one of the six elements of the godai philosophy: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind (referred to as kaze in the Hyakkin chant), Sky, and Consciousness (referred to as "Awakening" in the movie's title).
