Synopsis

At a CD shop, Ichika Hoshino hears an unfamiliar song by Miku. On the screen, she sees a version of Miku she's never encountered before, and can't help but exclaim, "Miku?!". Miku is startled by the voice, their eyes meet, but she vanishes shortly after. Later, after a street performance, the Miku Ichika saw earlier appears on her phone. Miku looks sad and dejected, and when Ichika quietly asks about her story, Miku explains that she has people she wants to reach with her songs, but no matter how much she sings, her music isn't getting to them. Miku, who saw Ichika touching the hearts of many with her performances, thought that learning more about Ichika might help her do the same, and came to her. Ichika smiles at Miku and says, "If it's okay with me." And so, a new story of Hatsune Miku and the boys and girls begins—.
