Synopsis
A stop-motion music video featuring a bitter melon superhero named Gouyaaman (Bittermelonman). Originally based on an insert song from the live-action TV series Churasan, Gouyaaman was an in-story yuru-chara created to promote tourism to a declining town. In the TV series, Gouyaaman was a failure and the butt of jokes. Surprisingly, the TV series became popular, and Gouyaaman evolved into a real-life yuru-chara in Okinawa, complete with merchandising.
