Sinossi
Local heroines, who perform stage shows to boost their towns' popularity, were once very popular. Kamidaio, the most famous local heroine, is scheduled to perform in the small town of Hinano, much to the delight of Mikan Kise's little sister Yuzu. However, when Mikan takes Yuzu to the show, she discovers it has been canceled. Determined not to disappoint her sister, Mikan asks her classmate An Akagi, a local heroine enthusiast, for help. Mikan and An put on their own Kamidaio performance in homemade costumes, which the kids in the audience love despite its low production value. The show is recorded by Misaki Shirogane, the student council president, who posts it online to gain attention. Misaki, from a political family, aims to revitalize Hinano and recruits Mikan and An to be the official local heroines of their town. As they work to improve their shows, they enlist the help of various colorful individuals.
