Sinossi
Chibi Maruko chan, a sweetly obnoxious 9-year-old girl, tricks her grandfather, ponders over her allowance, and hates sitting next to ugly boys. As the second term begins, Maruko and her classmates return to their small groups. Maruko's group includes two naughty boys, and she faces pressure at school. As the athletic meet approaches, Maruko realizes the boys' deep friendship and strong rivalry in everything they do.
