Sinossi
In the year 1947, the residents of Shinjuku are struggling to make ends meet. With little money for food or necessities, some turn to gambling to survive. Traveling Tetsuya spends his time at Mahjong parlors, where he consistently defeats his opponents. However, when Tetsuya encounters the highly skilled Boushu-san, he realizes that his skills are still lacking.
