Sinossi
Sonic the Hedgehog and his buddy Miles "Tails" Prower live carefree lives on South Island. When the president of Planet Freedom summons them, they find Dr. Eggman lounging in his office instead. Eggman claims his home city's generator has been hijacked and overloaded by a mysterious menace, threatening to explode and destroy both their homes. Reluctantly agreeing to help, Sonic and Tails set out into the abyss to confront an unknown yet familiar enemy.

Sonic★the★Hedgehog was released in English as Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie on VHS and DVD by ADV Films on September 7, 1999. The company later re-released the film on DVD on January 13, 2004, including both the Japanese and English dub.
