Sinossi

In an alternate 21st century, the robotics industry experiences rapid global advancements. By 2050, Japan leads in robotic technology and manufacturing with Daiwa Heavy Industries. As human body enhancements blur the line between man and machine, the U.N. imposes a unilateral ban on further robotics research and development in 2067. Japan objects fiercely but fails to prevent the ban, opting for high-tech national isolation while maintaining trade. A decade later, a series of bizarre incidents lead the American technology police agency SWORD to suspect Japan of concealing banned technologies via the RACE network. SWORD dispatches a unit of special agents to infiltrate Japan and gather intelligence. Vexille, a veteran agent among them, uncovers the horrifying truth behind Japan's ten years of isolation.
