Sinopse

Tímido, reservado e de estatura pequena, o aluno Sena Kobayakawa do Ensino Médio Deimon é o alvo perfeito para os valentões. No entanto, como resultado de fazer recados ao longo de sua vida, Sena se tornou ágil e desenvolveu uma habilidade para evitar multidões de pessoas. Background

Eyeshield 21 estava originalmente programado para ser transmitido na América do Norte no Toonami Jetstream e NFL Rush em colaboração com a National Football League, mas o plano não deu certo e o anime estreou apenas no Toonami Jetstream, que mais tarde abandonou a série. Ele então se tornou disponível em sua totalidade no Crunchyroll. A Sentai Filmworks mais tarde licenciou e lançou os primeiros 52 episódios em DVD de 2010 a 2011.
