Sinopse
Mikan Sakura is an ordinary 10-year-old girl, cheerful, lively, and kind-hearted—everything that Hotaru Imai is not. Hotaru is reserved, brilliant, and a bit emotionally distant. Yet, despite their stark differences, the two have been inseparable friends for years. When Hotaru abruptly transfers to Alice Academy, an elite school in the city, Mikan is heartbroken, especially after hearing the alarming stories about the academy’s strict and cruel treatment of its students. Overwhelmed with concern, she decides to run away to find her best friend. At the academy, Mikan discovers the existence of "Alices," people with extraordinary supernatural abilities, and learns that the school was established by the government to train and safeguard them. To her surprise, she finds she possesses her own special powers and enrolls in the academy. After overcoming many obstacles, she is finally reunited with Hotaru. Gakuen Alice is a heartwarming comedy that chronicles Mikan and her friends’ escapades at the academy, as well as their efforts to unravel the secrets behind the enigmatic, fire-manipulating student Natsume Hyuuga.
