Sinopse
A era Sengoku deu origem a muitos lendários históricos. Um deles é Naoe Kanetsugu, o brilhante general militar da família Uesugi. Junto com Maeda Keiji, um guerreiro lendário no campo de batalha, que se tornam amigos para toda a vida, eles esculpem um pedaço da história no momento mais perigoso e volátil da história do Japão. Os dois homens relembram seus começos e a jornada que percorreram para chegar à posição realizada em que agora se encontram.
