Sinopse
As gêmeas meio-demônio Towa e Setsuna viveram felizmente juntas no Japão feudal até que um incêndio na floresta as separou. Towa foi lançada através de um portal para o Japão moderno, onde foi criada por Souta Higurashi após não conseguir retornar ao seu tempo. Dez anos depois, Towa, de 14 anos, apesar de suas frequentes brigas, está relativamente bem ajustada. Inesperadamente, três visitantes do Japão feudal chegam: Moroha, uma caçadora de recompensas; Setsuna, uma exterminadora de demônios e a irmã gêmea perdida de Towa; e a Senhora de Três Olhos, um demônio em busca de um objeto místico. Juntas, as garotas derrotam seu inimigo, mas Towa descobre que Setsuna não tem memória dela. A história segue as três garotas enquanto trabalham para restaurar a memória de Setsuna e descobrir a verdade sobre seus destinos interligados.
