Sinopse
Oito anos atrás, a Civilização Ocidental chegou ao Japão do século XIX. Bonecos mecânicos e novas criações movidas a vapor começaram a se espalhar pelo país. A Gangue do Vento é um grupo de usuários de bonecos e vapor que acreditam em usar suas criações para violentamente trazer uma nova Era Industrial. Eles atacam e destroem a pacífica vila de um jovem usuário de bonecos chamado Hiwou um dia. Hiwou e seus amigos escapam com um boneco gigante chamado Homura. Hiwou agora quer encontrar seu pai para que ele possa ajudar a derrotar a Gangue do Vento e trazer a paz de volta ao Japão.
