Sinopse
Ren Homura acabou de se mudar de volta para sua cidade natal de Kaminohara, mas não consegue lembrar muito do tempo que passou lá, exceto por flashbacks vagos. Quando ele recupera seu celular, que havia enviado para uma loja para reparos, ele descobre que um jogo misterioso intitulado "Monster Strike" foi instalado nele. Sem saber de seu propósito ou como ele chegou lá, Ren decide abri-lo, uma ação que mudará sua vida para sempre, pois ele se vê subitamente atacado por um homem estranho. Agora preso no telhado de sua escola, que estranhamente foi designado como uma "fase," Ren fica chocado ao ver o homem invocar um monstro realista do jogo, um que é mais que capaz de infligir danos a um humano. Sua única chance de sair dessa situação vivo é invocar o dragão Oragon, que diz a Ren que ele esmagará o monstro oposto para ele. Infelizmente, descobriu-se que Oragon é um dragão minúsculo que é completamente inútil!
