Sinopse

Dorothy e seu companheiro canino Toto vivem uma vida tranquila em uma fazenda no Kansas com o Tio Henry e a Tia Em. Mas um dia, a menina e seu cachorro são levados dos campos do Kansas para a terra mágica de Oz! Dorothy e Toto conhecem muitos amigos no caminho de tijolos amarelos para a Cidade Esmeralda, onde ela espera encontrar uma maneira de voltar para o Kansas. No entanto, o misterioso governante da cidade, o Mágico de Oz, não é o que ela espera. O Mágico pode ajudar Dorothy a voltar para casa, mas a um preço assustador: ela e seus amigos, o Homem de Lata, o Espantalho e o Leão Covarde, devem derrotar a Bruxa Má do Oeste e libertar os Winkies do seu domínio.

Background

Oz no Mahoutsukai é baseado nos três primeiros e no sexto livro da série Oz de L. Frank Baum. Devido aos dois últimos livros não estarem em domínio público na época, a série teve que tomar grandes liberdades com o enredo.
